Video: Manic Corvette vs GT40 battle at Silverstone
This guy is absolutely winning at life. Take one 228,000-mile slim-body ‘base’ Corvette, track prep it a bit and send it into the VSCC Pomeroy Trophy. That’s what the owner of ‘Clive the Corvette’ did and found himself dicing with Ford GT40s, Jaguar E-types and more around a damp Silverstone.
The owner also seems to be a dab hand at setting up his cameras and mics because we get some great views, from the interior shot capturing the awesome sound of the 'Vette, to the camera and mic on the nose capturing the howling GT40. He’s a decent driver too, dancing the Corvette around, navigating the high speeds of Silverstone with a damp surface. Time to get looking again for Corvettes on Auto Trader…
