Video: Onboard 911 GT3 Cup flying at Silverstone
Race track plus a screaming Porsche 911 racer equals happiness, correct? Goes without saying. The aim of the game is speed, though, so how do you get the most out of this car at Silverstone? Happily, we can ride on board and observe the expert inputs of 2014 Porsche Carrera Cup champion, Josh Webster.
It really is one of those tracks where if you’ve not got that last inch of the car across the apex, you’re not going as fast as you could be. The flow is all about maintaining those straight lines and not corrupting your pace with steering lock. Of course, in some of the lower speed stuff and at greasy Silverstone, even something as willing as a GT3 Cup can bite, as one of Josh’s trackmates finds out in our full view.
